Facebook and video is a whole different ballgame! Here is a mind blowing statistic which, if you don't currently use video as a part of your marketing structure, should have you running for your marketing dept. and getting them ON IT!

EVERY SINGLE DAY ON FACEBOOK THERE ARE A STAGGERING EIGHT BILLION VIDEO VIEWS!!! THAT'S 8,000,000,000 VIEWS EVERY 24 HOURS!!!

So the message is clear: YES video is important to YOUR business whatever it may be. This leads us to the question of How to go about creating your promotional videos so that you can join this rapidly expanding revolution.

I can provide you with two very good solutions here. The first is you outsource them to a company. This is an expensive option as a short video can cost thousands of dollars. However there are several smaller companies offering far better deals such as KRA (Key Reward Assc.) Yes that's me and you can see the difference in rates by first doing a search on Video Production, then comparing what you find with our own rates here.

The second option, which is becoming more and more appealing to smaller businesses or start ups, is the "do it yourself" method. Now the phrase DIY brings terror to the average Joe however there are now several "Drag and Drop" programs out there which, with a little practice can turn even the ultimate computer-phobe into a reasonable video creator. With these programs all the hard and complicated work is done for you so you just get to concentration being creative.

The very best (by a wide mile) of all of them is also the one with possibly the worst name: EXPLAINDIO - A combination of Explain and Video I guess - which is now in its third incarnation. there is nothing this software won't do and for a very low cost of less than $60 a year it does it all for next to nothing for you. You can watch a short demo of a few of its 'powers' here.

Be successful out there

John
